Journey Nepal

Namaste! Join us as we bring you on a journey of discovery:

The discovery of nature, confidence, community and self-worth through a ten-day experiential workshop in an unknown and unfamiliar land – Nepal.

Yes, we will be flying there. No, this is NOT your typical tour.

Enjoy the pristine beauty of the Annapurna Range and the generous hospitality of the Nepalese as we transverse Nepal’s varied terrain, interact with locals from the cities to the villages and explore lush forests to trekking mountainside paths.

Journey Nepal encourages you to embrace the wonder of nature, and treat life with gratitude and respect. Climb up to 1600m above sea level, swing down one of the longest zipline in the world and dance around a campfire under a starlit sky! It is one trip you will want to join.

In any journey, it is the people who make the significant difference. We have forged strong lasting relationships with the locals in Nepal. When you are there, you’re no longer a stranger or a tourist. You are a friend. And friends get to do so much more than tourists!

Expect to develop an acute sense of awareness, as we push you to question and evaluate what you might have taken for granted back home. Ultimately, Journey Nepal is a confidence-building journey with lessons and experiences that will stick with you for life.

An Immense Experience Not To Be Missed!

First and foremost, Journey Nepal is NOT a tour trip. It is an adventure workshop that boosts the confidence and self-worth through the journey through an unknown and unfamiliar land. Journey Nepal removes participants from the constraint of four walls and allows the natural development of our participants through empowering  experiences.

What can you expect to get in Nepal? Well, aside from the breath-taking views and usual touristy activities you get from tour agencies, we want you to experience so much more!

.

Here’s what you can expect

  • Be one with nature – Breathe the fresh mountain air and the dewy forest morning mist
  • Glimpse into a noble world – Discover the relevance of Green Social Enterprises in Nepal and contribute to their growth
  • Live the culture – Share song and dance with our friends as we light a campfire under a starry sky
  • Immerse in adrenaline-pumping challenges – Guaranteed to give you a new perspective on life
  • Witness a new you – With experiences of many ‘firsts’, your friends will be amazed by a better you

  • We’ve been to Nepal! Have you?

Journey Nepal was truly an amazing experience! It is a must go for anyone who loves adventures and a  escape form the hectic city life. Be ready to test your limits and experience parts of Nepal less travelled. I really enjoyed the elements of the tour from being able to explore the Chitwan jungle safari by elephant, foot and boat and getting as close to wildlife as possible, to trekking up to view the Annapurna Range, to visiting the Tibetian refugee Camp and being able to immerse myself into the local Nepalese culture. It is definitely an experience not to be missed!

From the city, to the jungle, to the mountains. The Nepal trip had a wide variety of activities planned for us to experience the things that we would never get in Singapore. My favourite were the jungle safari and mountain hike. In the jungle safari, we got to sit on an elephant as it rode through the jungle. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to see some rhinoceros in its natural habitat! The hike up the mountain although tiring, was worth it because of the cool fresh air and spectacular view. It will get cold at night so do bring an extra jacket and warm socks and gloves. We also got to experience the interesting culture and learn its history in the Kathmandu. The best memories in Nepal were the friendly and warm Nepalese that we met along the way as well as experiencing its wonderful culture. I would encourage everyone who wants to experience Nepal to go on this trip!

The first question my friends ask when I mention the trip I went for, was with a couple of people I barely know is, “what if you do not get along well with them?”
After my experience I realised that mismatch of personalities does no matter a bit.

See, as we travel the settings take hold of our conversations moving friendships along places visited. As I went to Chitwan, the wilderness, elephant rides, campfires, sumptuous soup fired our appetites for talk, fun and laughter. As we hiked, we were surprised at how delicious and fresh the food can be all the way up the mountain. I mean their apple pies and pizza won what we had back here. The masala tea became our shared addiction.

Amidst gratification, we helped out Beni and learnt about women’s rights in Nepal. What made our bond? Not the interweaving of personalities but the way new sights and social awareness opened our minds to meet somewhere where we all belonged!

To top it off, we had awesome organisers who took care of all our needs, handpicked the best tour guides who were fluent in English and apt at their jobs and great food places! They too fueled our camaraderie with notebooks to share our learnt insights

Going to Nepal for the first time, it was an extremely enjoyable and refreshing experience for me. I have experienced many firsts while on the trip there, such as zip lining down the world’s second longest zip liner, and even bathing with an elephant! Much unlike other tours, this trip has allowed me to broaden my sights and grow as a person. I have learnt many things from the locals there and how they struggle against odds to arrive where they are. I am very glad to have gone on this trip, filled with memorable places and extraordinary places. :)
